Entrepreneurship of blind people: results of entailment with society

Abstract
The objective of this research is to demonstrate the abilities and potential of people with visual disabilities of the members of the Center for Special Popular Education of the Association of the Non-Seers of Imbabura and the proposals of undertakings developed by the students of the Business Administration Course of Uniandes Ibarra. For the development of the research, a census was conducted through a survey applied to the 58 adult members of the Center for Specialized Popular Education of Imbabura. In addition, a sample of 351 inhabitants of the city of Ibarra was surveyed to gather information about the support they would offer to entrepreneurships of blind people. It was determined that a low percentage of blind people receive some kind of economic aid from the government, there is poor labor inclusion in local companies , groups of blind people were identified who have been trained and have experience in product sales, crafts manufacturing and food preparation. It was also evidenced the will of the community to prioritize the consumption of products and services undertaken by blind people, as well as interest by the municipal authorities of the city of Ibarra and private floricultural farms to become strategic allies in the execution of the productive projects.
