The context of the advisory houses in Guayaquil

Abstract

The objective of this article is to present the investigation of the work context and the general characteristics of the main consulting houses of the City of Guayaquil. The investigation was part of a study on the use of intelligence tools by companies in the city of Guayaquil. Results of secondary information from the National Institute of Statistics of Ecuador (INEC), the Association of Consulting Companies of Ecuador (ACCE) and the Chamber of Small Industry of Guayas (CAPIG), from bibliography belonging to different articles were taken into account. indexed in databases (Scopus, Scielo and Latindex). Similarly, primary information was obtained through interviews with executives of consulting companies and independent consultants, all based in the city of Guayaquil. Elements of fuzzy logic were used for the selection of experts, Kendall's coefficients of agreement and Cronbach's stability coefficient for the validation of surveys and tools for the measurement of trends (Google Trends). Finally, the incidence of the consulting firms of the city of Guayaquil in the development of contemporary intelligence tools in the business community of Guayaquil was considered low.
