The economic activity of Perú 2020-2023 and its effect on the collection of tax revenue
Abstract
This article aims to establish the effects of economic activity in Peru with reference to the collection of tax revenues. For this article, a quantitative method was used, because the data to be used has been collected through results between the years 2020 to 2023. The research was classified as descriptive, since it was based on statistical data collected from SUNAT, MEF, BCRP, SBS and other sources with respect to the collection of tax revenues. The approach was non-experimental since the data were obtained from official sources. Among the results, economic activity in Peru has considerably impacted the central government's tax revenue collection levels due to factors such as social conflicts, climate changes and, for the periods analyzed; The COVID 19 pandemic has had negative results on the growth levels of the main economic sectors. In conclusion, it is established that by strengthening tax collection, a greater increase in GDP can be generated and in turn the development of the main economic activities such as the construction, mining, manufacturing and fishing sectors will improve.
